Operating Parameters

Dominican Renewables, Inc. (DRI) is currently developing 12,000 hectares of land for feedstock production, with immediate access to another 18,000 hectares. Initial production and sales are set to start within 4 months of this round of financing with large scale production to follow within 12 months (800,000 gallons per month, revenues over 3.5 mm per month). The 30,000 hectares will produce over 20 million gallons of oil per year. The Company controls its feedstock through a well established outgrower model with local farmers, owns and operates its own processing and refining equipment, and has guaranteed sales through existing contracts and additional LOIs.

Growth Opportunities

Over 100,000 hectares are already identified for development to produce 70 million gallons of oil per year. This can be sold locally or exported. We will replicate this model across the island and the region and eventually into other parts of the globe.

Sales & Marketing

DRI sells directly to large consumers and established distributors. Our marketing is based on providing a lower priced alternative to imported diesel in a high demand environment to customers that are known and with whom we have established relationships.

Market Size

The country has no local fuel sources and currently imports almost 400 mm gallons of diesel per year. With a growing population and industry and several very large industrial consumers coming on line, demand will continue to grow.

With an existing guaranteed sales contract for 20mm gallons p.a. for minimum 10 years, DRI has secured the sale of all its production at a healthy profit margin. Off-take LOI agreements have also been secured signifying plenty of local demand from a wide variety of groups. Furthermore, the byproducts of the refining process (glycerine and biomass) and carbon credits offer additional asset classes and revenue streams

Technical Expertise and Management - DRI is led by two founders with deep Dominican and international experience in investment, management and business development. The Company has a strong local team and access to additional specialized talent for the full management and operation of all facets of the enterprise.

The country imports all of its fuel needs including over 350mm gallons of diesel per annum. Our fuel is a direct replacement that is locally produced, in high demand, very competitive and profitable
