Dominican Renewables has a strong local team and access to additional specialized talent for the full management and operation of all facets of the enterprise. It has partnered on an equal basis with the oldest and most respected nongovernmental organization in the Dominican Republic, the Dominican Institute for Integral Development (IDDI) and IDDI’s sister organization in Haiti. IDDI has extensive experience in multiple areas of economic and social development, including the development of agricultural and biofuel projects in both the Dominican Republic and Haiti. IDDI’s staff includes internationally trained agronomists, engineers and economists, many of whom are fully engaged in the enterprise.
